Our Roving Reporter…..

RovingWeather held out very well – most surprisingly!  A few spots, lot’s of cloud all day.  Wrest Park was quite easy to get into for the wheelchairs.  Very helpful staff – always smiling (just like the wives of Stepford)! The House was very interesting – the family DuGrey (nothing to do with the tea people).  One rose to be Duke of Kent.  The gardens consisted of French, Italian and rose gardens in their colourful sections.  The view from the veranda to the pavillion and lake was about 1/2 a mile.  Your intrepid reporter ventured  valiantly with Ann towards the pavillion – unknown wheelchair territory.  We were passing the slow motorised buggies.  We were found wandering in confusion by one of the park guides.  Otherwise they would have found one wheelchair and 2 skeletons!!!    Kendo
