Tea and Talkies

Hello dear reader,  it’s your intrepid reporter EL MOANA.

Last Monday week we went to Warner Brothers with the mature gang to watch a movie.  Tea and Talkies it’s called.

Firstly i must say that the service from Warner Bros was excellent. Tiffin time was laid on with sandwiches, coffee, tea and strawberry jam lashed scones.

But before that we sat down to be really entertained. Ssitting back in those thick chairs the curtains parted and we are off to a pleasure dome of acting. Dimmed llghts –  roll credits.
Up come the titles THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL.
The cast was a who’s who of the best character actors with
MAGGIE SMITH, DAME JUDI DENCH ,PENELOPE WILTON, CELIA IMRIE, TOM WILKENSON, RONALD PICKUP and BILL NIGHY. There was also a host of top Indian thespians with  DEV PATEL leading   the home team.
MAGGIE i feel acted the pants off DAME JUDY , with PENELOPE
WILTON (she of ever decreasing circles fame) acting a brilliant
selfish, and argumentative harradin.  Basicaly it was you’re never ,ever,  too  old to change your life!

BILL NIGHY  coming home to find his lost love
and die  , crabbie and bigoted old crow who could not find good in anything,
who lusts after young women , but finally find happiness with  carol.
All this without VIAGRA ( SHE GIVES HIM COLOURED BLUE HARMLESS PILL)!
CELIA IMIRE FINDS EXOTIC  MAHARAJAH,  DOUGLAS ( NIGHY) FINDS
HAPPINESS EVELYN (JUDI) TO WILKENSON PLAYS GRAHAM A GAY HIGH COURT  JUDGE RETURNING TO NERVOUSLY  FIND HIS ONLY TRUE SOUL-MATE.

DEV  PATEL playing  SONY KAPOOR ACTS HIS PART WITH COMPLETE OPTIMISM – THE WAY THE INDIAN RACE HAS. It also shows why they are one of the fastest growing technical nations;  every body willing to learn.

all in all EL MOANO came out of warner brothers like EL SMILEO!
THE END
