Yes, it’s your favourite reporter, el Moana.
Sue managed to get hold of some tickets for the new exhibition about the art of Columbia called ‘Beyond El Dorado’ at the BritishMuseum. The exhibition depicted the ancient art of the Colombians and how a super nation – no, Sam, it wasn’t the U.S.A. this time, but the Conquistadors of Spain – pillaged and brought pestilence to a nation. The artefacts of gold were as bright as the day they were made and it was a good experience to view such delicate art-work… But it wouldn’t be el Moana without a gripe, would it? Well, it’s this: if you took a deep breath, by the time you’d exhaled you’d be through the exhibition.
The intrepid crew who went to the exhibition was Sam, Tom Carmen, and the famous el Moana.
Adios for now!
If you want to know more, or get a glimpse of what el Moana and the crew saw at the exhibition, you can find out more on the BritishMuseum website: http://www.britishmuseum.org/whats_on/exhibitions/beyond_el_dorado.aspx
