#Crafternoons With Carmen at Millman Street Community Centre

Crafternoon Plus: HCA members display the decorated boxes they created today

Today, Millman Street Community Centre members enjoyed  Crafternoons– an arts and craft workshop hosted by HCA’s resident artist, Carmen.  The workshop today was Boxes Découpage, the art of decorating objects with paper cut-outs.

Crafternoons is but the latest manifestation of Carmen’s  arts & crafts classes.  She has hosted workshops at HCA for 30 years, working with different age groups.

Our members all had fun decorating their boxes, as they often seem to do when doing anything creative.  “It was lovely,” said Margaret, also speaking for Helena, George and Anne, who also enjoyed the workshop.

Crafternoons will resume in around six weeks time, after another series of workshops on Wednesday afternoons at Millman Street Centre – the return of Mrs H and the Singalong Band.
