#Raggle Taggles to Debut at Millman Street Centre Tommorow

Tomorrow, 8th March, The Raggle Taggles will perform for the first time at Millman Street Centre.  The gig – free to all our members – will take place between 2pm and 3pm.

The Raggle Taggles are a sort of super group (by HCA standards, at least), comprised of some members of Norman’s Play Reading Group (Tuesdays at the Centre, 2:30pm to 4pm), and a few Mary Ward Centre Players.  The line-up consists of Norman, Anne, Jim, Joyce, Tessa and ‘King’ Canute (now he’s back from America), with Lawrence at the piano.

The set is due to include old favourites like Consider Yourself (you know, from Oliver!), Moon River, and Edelweiss.  Norman expects some participation from Millman Street Centre members, and has produced singalong lyric sheets for them to this end.

As this is the Raggle Taggles inaugural gig, obviously there aren’t any photos as yet.  And so your ‘ever-resourceful’ [sic] HCA hack made do with an old picture (see above) that he’s mucked about with.  Hopefully, someone will take some pictures during tomorrow’s performance.

The Raggle Taggles are Joyce’s idea, Norman said, and he “Hopes it’ll be the first of many” such gigs at the Centre.  Holborn Community Association hopes so too, and thanks them for performing free for the entertainment of HCA members.
